Milan prosecutors said Friday that
Netflix has agreed to pay 55.85 million euros to end a dispute
with the Italian tax authorities.
The settlement follows a probe by finance police into undeclared
earnings made by the American streaming platform between 2015
and 2019 in Italy.
The prosecutors said that 55.85 million figure covered unpaid
taxes, interest and fines.
They said that Netflix will pay tax on its Italian earnings in
Italy from now on after setting up an unit here on January 1.
