Deputy Premier Matteo Salvini's
League party on Thursday presented a bill that would stop
companies that relocate production abroad from being able to use
the 'made in Italy' label.
"We want to fight tooth and nail to defend Italian companies
and historical brands with laws of good sense," said Salvini,
who is also interior minister.
"Do you want to make chocolate in Turkey? Then put 'made in
Turkey' on your products, without using the Italian label".
