Navigator problem weighs on basic income success - unions

CAF centres to start taking applications Mar 6

(ANSA) - Rome, March 4 - The problem of recruiting and managing 'navigators', or advisors for job seekers who will get the new basic income "will weigh on the success" of the programme, trade unions said Monday.
Amid a stalemate on hiring the navigators, regional governments on Monday asked for a "first accord" on their use.
Also Monday, the CAF union consultancy offices approved the basic income accord and said they would start taking applications from March 6.
