Northern Europe mustn't ignore
Italy's unemployed, European People's Party (EPP) leader Manfred
Weber said on Monday.
"We must learn the lesson from the euro crisis that we must
see the problems of others," said Weber, who is standing for
president of the European Commission.
"Italy has strong youth unemployment, and Germany, Austria
and Finland cannot not see these problems".
Italy's youth jobless rate is over 30% with pockets of over
50% in some areas of the south.
