The European Commission is
ready to again reject Italy's 2019 budget and declare the public
debt re-entry plan not in line with the Stability Pact, European
sources said Monday.
The EC will issue its second rejection on Wednesday barring
last-minute surprises, they said.
This will be the first step on the way to the opening of an
infringement procedure for excessive deficit, they said.
