Consumer and business confidence fell
this month, ISTAT said on Friday. The national statistics agency
said its consumer-confidence index dropped to 105.4 points from
107.4 in April, while the business-confidence index went down
from 106.8 a 106.2. It is the first time that both indices have
fallen since August.
