Italian industrial turnover rose by 4.1% in August with respect to July, the biggest increase since January 2011, Istat said on Tuesday. The national statistics agency said industrial orders were up 10.2% in August compared to July, according to seasonally adjusted data.
Turnover was up 6.8% on August 2015, whole orders were up 15.9% in year-on-year terms. Turnover for the car sector was up 20.5% in August and revenues rose 18.7% with respect to the same month in 2015, according to raw data.
