Premier Matteo Renzi on
Tuesday again slammed Germany's high trade surplus, saying it
was hurting Europe. "If a single country has a trade surplus of
89 billion euros, that country is not only hurting itself but is
also hurting Europe," he said, without naming Germany. Renzi
again stressed the importance of investments rather than
austerity. "Europe must restart from investments, which must be
the priority," he said.
