Commuters in Rome faced
disruptions on Thursday after a train broke down on the Metro B
line linking the north and the south of the city.
The biggest problems were reported at the Bologna stop,
where angry passengers filled the platforms.
There were also disruptions for bus travellers as employees
of Tpl, the company that runs services in peripheral areas,
entered their fourth day of strike action over salary arrears.
Just 11 services out of a total of 103 run by Tpl were
reportedly working.
