Fiat Chrysler Automobiles
(FCA) "will be in the black" around the world in 2015, Chief
Executive Officer Sergio Marchionne predicted on Wednesday.
"I am very pleased," especially with results from Europea,
the Middle East, and Africa, said Marchionne, referring to
efforts by the head of the so-called Emea region Alfredo
Altavilla.
He spoke as FCA released its annual financial report for
2014, including a forecast for the Emea region to return to
profitability this year - a year earlier than previously
predicted.
"The journey we have taken since 2007...shows that things
can change," he said.
Marchionne engineered the major merger of Italy's Fiat SpA
and Chrysler Group of Michigan that came to fruition in 2014.
