Italian cooperatives earned
more in 2013 from financial activity than they did from retail
sales, Mediobanca's research and study institute said Thursday.
Last year financial operations by Italy's major co-ops -
which have investments worth 12.2 billion euros - netted 210
million euros, compared to the 47.1 million euro profit margin
resulting from their core retail business, Mediobanca R&S said.
