Riccardo Monti, the president of the ICE-Italian Trade Promotion Agency, said Wednesday that investigations like the mafia probe that is currently rocking the city of Rome do not affect the international public's love of Italy and its products. "I don't know if the recent news about mafia investigations has a negative impact on our exports abroad," Monti told an ANSA forum. "What I know is that newspapers (and their stories) soon pass and what remains is the love for Italy," he said.
