(ANSA)- Rome, October 1 - Tax evasion in Italy in 2013 was
worth 24.5 billion euros, according to a report by the Italian
economy ministry published Wednesday.
Tax evasion stood at 13.1 billion in 2006, but 2013's data,
which records a staggering 87% increase compared to that year,
still marks an improvement with respect to the years 2009-2012
and especially to 2011 when the Italian revenue discovered 30.4
billion euros unaccounted for.
