Italy's share of world exports
increased slightly last year from 2.7% to 2.8% though the value
of Italian exports was almost unchanged, the official ISTAT
statistics agency said Tuesday.
Exports of goods from Italy in 2013 were almost static,
declining by a mere 0.1% while exports of services rose by 1.4%,
representing an "increase in competitiveness" on the
international market, according to ISTAT.
