A 29-year-old Italian hiker died
trying to take photo in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines on Sunday,
sources said Monday.
Andrea Cimbali died on the Corno alle Scale massif, police said.
He was with a friend who called emergency services but there was
nothing they could do for Cimbali.
They were both from Imola near Bologna.
The accident happened at a height of about 1,850 metres, police
said.
It occurred on the Balzi dell'Ora trail, classified as for
expert trekkers and climbers.
Cimbali leaned into a void to take a photo of the mountain and
slipped and fell hundreds of metres.
