Salvini, the Euroskeptic League party leader, on Thursday said
European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker would be
"nothing" after the May 24-26 European elections.
"Juncker will be nothing any longer from May 27, so we'll see
if we're right or some European bureaucrat," he said on the
regional election stump in Sardinia.
"I recall that the EU has always told us that we coulnd't
touch the Fornero (pension) law, and we touched it, we are
dismantling it and so they should put their minds at ease".
