Three-time for,er premier and
media magnate Silvio Berlusconi's centre-right Forza Italia (FI)
will not join any alliance with the centre left, FI Vice
President and European Parliament President Antonio Tajani said
Tuesday.
"We are not interested in single lists, in radical chic hodge
podges of another type," he said.
"We're an alternative to the populists, but that doesn't mean
that this will led us to join lists like (former industry
minister and democratic Party bigwig Carlo) Calenda's.
"We are a force of the centre right, Catholic and liberal:
we've got nothing to do with the centre left."
