Transport Minister Danilo
Toninelli said Friday on Twitter that highways company
Autostrade per l'Italia (ASPI), which held the concession for
the collapsed Morandi bridge in Genoa, has committed to
reconstruction commissioner Marco Bucci that it will "pay for
the Genoa bridge, displaced properties and businesses, and what
it destroyed with the collapse".
Toninelli tweeted that ASPI "won't rebuild, but it will pay".
