(Ansa) - Brussels, October 19 - Premier Giuseppe Conte
admitted there were differences within the League/5-Star
Movement coalition that supports his government on Friday but
added that this does not stop the executive functioning.
"Debate between the parties in the ruling majority, which at
times can be lively, does not affect the good work that we are
doing," Conte said.
"We are moving forward, aware of the responsibility that we
have - especially with respect to the citizens - to not waste
energy and to stay focused on the objectives we want to achieve
for the good of the country.
"I head a government that, up to now, has been able to work
as team and in harmony and we will continue to do so".
