Premier Giuseppe Conte on
Thursday rejected European Economic Affairs Commissioner Pierre
Moscovici's description of the Italian government as
"Euroskeptic and xenophobic".
Asked about the alleged xenophobia, Conte told reporters in
Assisi "I read those and other statements but I won't even
comment on xenophobia".
"I won't comment on the xenophobia charge and I return it to
sender.
"I won't agree to talk about xenophobia in Italy with this
government. The premises are not there".
