Salvini says 660,000 migrants in Libya (2)

Interior minister cites IOM data

(ANSA) - Rome, June 27 - Interior Minister Matteo Salvini said Wednesday that some 660,000 migrants are currently in Libya.
    "According to IOM data, there are 662,000 migrants present in Libya, 10% of whom are minors, from 40 countries, prevalently African ones," Salvini told a question time session in parliament. "There are 152,000 asylum seekers registered by the UNHCR".
