Pupils staged demonstrations all over Italy on Friday to protest against job-placement schemes introduced by the Good School reform and education funding issues.
Similar protests last month led to clashes with police in some cities. "We're in the red," students in Cagliari said.
Pupils in Rome echoed that, stripping in a flash mob protest and proclaiming the government had "left us in our underpants". In Milan protestors painted on the windows of a McDonald's restaurant.
"It is always necessary to listen to students who take to the streets and it should be real listening," said Education Minister Valeria Fedeli.
"But I'd also like to see them take account of all the investments, which perhaps are not sufficient, which have been put into training over the last three years".
