Italian motorcycling great
Valentino Rossi got back in the saddle on Monday, just 18 days
after suffering a double leg fracture in a training accident.
The nine-time world champion could make a lighting return to
action at this weekend's Aragon Grand Prix in Spain.
His Yamaha team said that a decision will be made on
Wednesday as a Rossi's session at the Marco Simoncelli Circuit
at Misano was cut short by rain and it was not possible to
properly assess his condition.
The 38-year-old, who won seven of his world titles in the
premium class, is fourth in the rider standings, 42 points
behind leader Marc Marquez.
