Rescuers found the bodies of two
mountaineers in the Val Rosandra area, near Trieste, late on
Thursday.
The pair are thought to have lost their hold as they were
found hanging off the rock, forcing them to spend hours under
the sun in intense heat.
The Alpine rescue service launched a search after the wife of
one of the men sounded the alarm.
