A Rome prosecutor on Wednesday asked a detention-review court not to release Alfredo Romeo, a Neapolitan businessman arrested on March 1 on suspicion of corruption in a probe into suspected graft at civil-service procurement agency CONSIP. A ruling is expected on or before Monday. Sports Minister Luca Lotti and the father of ex-premier Matteo Renzi are under investigation in the same probe.
