Italy's housing market continued its
recovery in 2016 with over one million property sales registered
last year, a 18.4% increase with respect to 2015, tax agency
L'Agenzia delle Entrate said Wednesday. It was the third
consecutive year of growth for the property market, which was
hit badly by the economic crisis and had not hit the
one-million-sales mark since 2011.
