Whistleblowers protected in new Rome code of conduct (2)

Will remain anonymous

(ANSA) - Rome, January 11 - Rome city council on Wednesday approved a new code of conduct for staff protecting whistleblowers and cracking down on gifts, sources said. The new code moves the Italian capital into line with recommendations from the national anti-corruption authority, ANAC. Under the new code, whistleblowers would remain anonymous, said sources close to Rome Mayor Virginia Raggi.
