Three young men and a
16-year-old boy were arrested while in the act of accepting
1,000 euros from a woman they blackmailed by threatening to post
an explicit video of her online, sources said Friday.
The adult suspects are aged 24 and 27. All are farm day
laborers.
The victim, aged 30, turned to police after she had
consensual sex with the blackmailers, who secretly filmed the
encounter.
The incident took place last week in an industrial
warehouse in the Brindisi area. The sting took place yesterday.
Police found the video in question on the suspects' phones, and
are trying to ascertain whether it has been sent to other
people.
