Just over half of new businesses
was set up by people aged under 35 in the second quarter this
year, Unioncamere chambers of commerce association said Tuesday.
There were over 20,000 such startups, making up 54.1% of
Italian businesses.
Over 40%, or 8,366 startups by young entrepreneurs were set
up in Italy's chronically impoverished South, according to
Unioncamere.
Youth-led startups made up 40% of businesses in the
finance, personal services, and advertising sectors, according
to Unioncamere.
