Italian industrial turnover was down by 3.6% in March with respect to the same time last year and by 1.6% with respect to February, according to seasonally adjusted data released by Istat on Wednesday. The year-on-year fall was the biggest since August 2013, the national statistics agency said. It added that industrial turnover was down on average by 1.1% in the first three months of this year with respect to the same period in 2015. The agency said industrial orders dropped 3.3% in March compared to February but were 0.1% higher than in the same month last year.
