Italy is set to start trialing a
health card for migrants, Health Minister Beatrice Lorenzin said
Friday. She said the first "deliveries" of the new card would
take place in Lampedusa and Trapani in July. She said the card
would contain "all the migrant's health data and will enable us
to trace the state of health of those entering Europe. She also
said it would permit "the traceability of people as regards
security". The card is part of the EU's 'Care' scheme, she said.
