Migrants and terrorists "are two
distinct and separate things which sometimes have points of
contact but you can't forget the terrorists who struck Paris
weren't migrants but French," Interior Minister Angelino Alfano
said Friday when asked about the risk of terrorists sneaking
into Europe with refugees and migrants.
"We have activities of intelligence gathering and
prevention that work, although it must be stressed that zero
risk does not exist, because prevention serves to reduce the
risk coefficient," Alfano said.
