Fiat Chrysler Automobiles
(FCA)'s Italian sales in January were 19.79% up over the same
month in 2015, the transport ministry said Monday. FCA's market
share rose from 28.23% al 28.79%. All marques grew with Jeep up
47.56% and Fiat up 19.66%. Alfa Romeo was 11.69% up and Lanica
10.34% up. FCA outpaced the market, which rose 17.44% in January
compared to the same month in 2015. FCA hailed the latest set of
strong sales figures saying "in a market that is racing, Fiat
Chrysler Automobiles is flying". January was the 13th straight
month FCA sales rose more than the Italian market did.
