Unemployment across eurozone
countries fell by 0.1% to 10.5% in November from 10.6% the
previous month, Eurostat said Thursday.
This translated into 16.924 million people out of work.
Year-on-year figures showed a drop of 0.95% from 11.5% in
November 2014.
Unemployment across the 28-member European Union also fell
by 0.1% month-on-month, from 9.2% in October to 9.1% in
November.
This translated into 22.159 million people out of work.
Youth unemployment across the eurozone also showed a drop
of 0.1% with respect to October, falling to 22.5%, but a rise of
0.1% over September.
Year-on-year figures showed a reduction of 0.7% from 23.2%
in November 2014.
