Italy's Antitrust Authority on
Thursday opened a probe into four of the country's top cement
firms - Buzzi Unicem, Cementir Italia, Industria Cementi
Giovanni Rossi and Holcim Italia - on suspicion they agreed
price increases together. The four companies are suspected of
coordinating price levels, the antitrust said. The authority
said it had carried out inspections in the offices of the four
firms on November 25 and 26.
