Automobile production in Italy
increased by 48.8% in August compared to the same month in 2014,
the Istat statistics institute said Friday.
The figures were the latest in a series of increases in car
production on the peninsula since the end of last year.
In all car production was up by 44.5% in the first eight
months of this year, Istat said.
