European Central Bank
President Mario Draghi said Thursday night that "the progress
reached in the last three years to stabilise and reinforce the
euro area are real. Growth is returning. And we won't stop until
monetary union is completed". He spoke while accepting the
Atlantic Council's Global Citizen Award. Drgahi has boosted the
eurozone's economy with quantitative easing (QE), a programme of
massive bond-buying to inject huge liquidity into the system.
