Premier Matteo Renzi on Monday lauded the success of Expo Milan on his Facebook page, as the world's fair enters its final two months.
"The final rush for Expo is starting. Last 60 days to visit Milan and the world's fair. Try to take advantage of work days, if you can: Expo is literally overrun with so many visitors. An impressive success, with the usual affectionate embrace from the naysayers who were asking to block everything. Italy is stronger than those who bet only on failure," Renzi wrote.
"Let's continue to reflect on the legacy of this event: an Italy that's more sensitive to the themes of sustainability, quality of life, international cooperation. Among the many events in the coming days, I'm singling out September 6, when Bono Vox, following concerts in Turin, will be with us at Expo".
