Rome authorities have drafted a
major security plan to avert trouble at Sunday's big match
between AS Roma and Juventus at the Olimpico.
A sell-out 60,000 crowd is expected at the stadium with
some 1,400 travelling supporters.
On Thursday a security meeting agreed measures for the
match, which kicks off at 18:00 local time.
Turnstiles will open earlier than usual, at 15:30, to allow
for hassle-free access.
Assembly points have been established for the Juve
supporters - one at Saxa Rubra for those coming to the capital
by car and another at Tiburtina Station for juventini living in
Rome and those arriving by train.
From those two points the supporters will travel by bus and
under police escort to the stadium, averting all contact with
Roma fans.
Both teams are looking to recover from false starts to the
season with Juve losing against Udinese and Roma drawing at
Verona.
