Mario Balotelli's Liverpool
adventure evidently is in its final stages after the club
decided to bar the flamboyant Italian attacker from training
with other team members, sources said Friday.
Recent declarations by Brendan Rodgers held out hope for
Balotelli to remain at Anfield but the latest decision is a
clear message that there is no future for Balotelli at
Liverpool.
The former Milan player was excluded from the Reds' summer
retreat in Australia and southeast Asia and now, just a week
away from the start of the championship he has been segregated
from his teammates just as Rodgers also has sidelined another
Italian player, Fabio Borini.
The two Italians together with Spanish player Jose Enrique
are training at the Melwood sports centre, but following a
different training routine with a different timetable to the
first team.
