Police were on Tuesday investigating the case of a runaway teenage girl from the northern city of Padua who may be heading for Syria to enrol as a foreign fighter with Islamic State (ISIS). The 19-year-old, who is of Moroccan origin, is thought to have begun preparing her journey months ago using web-based specialist forums and the instant messaging service Skype, local newspaper Il Mattino reports.
