Brazil defender Miranda arrived
in Milan on Tuesday to do the medical for his move to Inter from
Atletico Madrid.
The 30-year-old is set to move on loan, although the Serie
A side will then be obliged to make the transfer permanent, in a
deal worth around 15 million euros.
The centre back, who was with the Brazilian national team
at the Copa America in Chile until they were knocked out by
Colombia at the weekend, is set to sign a three-year deal, ANSA
sources said.
"I'm very happy to be here," Miranda said after doing the
medical.
"(Atletico coach Diego) Simeone talked to me about Inter.
They are a great club.
"I chose the Nerazzurri because I was looking for a new
challenge. I think next season will be a great one".
