Berlusconi's Forza Italia party
rose 1.3% in poll numbers released Friday, while declines came
for Italian Premier Matteo Renzi's Democratic Party (PD), Matteo
Salvini's Northern League, and Beppe Grillo's 5-Star Movement,
according to a weekly survey of voter intentions conducted by
polling group SWG.
Compared to last week, Forza Italia rose to 16.0% from
14.7%; while the PD now stands at 39.2%, down from 39.8%; the
Northern League at 13.0%, down from 13.6%; and the 5-Star
Movement at 16.5%, down from 17.0%.
The SWG poll was conducted on a representative sample of
2,000 adults between March 9-11 for their weekly report on voter
intentions.
