The Northern League's incumbent as Veneto governor will win again even if the baby Jesus stands against him in May, League leader Matteo Salvini said Tuesday.
"There's no risk of losing Veneto: (Luca) Zaia will make it even if he's running against me, you, the baby Jesus or all of us put together, because of what he has done (as governor)," Zaia said when asked if Verona Mayor Flavio Tosi's possible expulsion from the rightist party would hurt Zaia's prospects.
