Bank loans continued to fall on
annualized measure in November, following a trend also seen the
month before, the Bank of Italy said in a report Monday. Loans
fell by 1.6% compared with the same time in 2013, including a
drop of 0.5% for households, the central bank said. That
followed the October report showing that loans fell by 2.1%,
including an annualized fall of 0.6% among households. Loans to
businesses outside the financial sector fell by 2.6% in November
compared with 3.1% the month before.
