Intesa Sanpaolo borrowed 8.59
billion euros from the European Central Bank (ECB) in the second
round of its targeted long-term refinancing operation (TLTRO),
the Italian credit institution said Thursday.
The credit borrowed under the ECB's low-rate loan programme
for eurozone banks came on top of the four billion euros taken
up in the first round of borrowing.
In total the second TLTRO allotment came in at 129.84
billion euros, according to the ECB.
