Construction in Italy is
falling dramatically, dropping by 10.6% in September compared to
the same time last year, and by 6.9% in the first nine months of
the year on an annual basis, Istat said Tuesday.
The national statistical agency said weather was not a
factor in the September figures as there were 22 working days
compared with 21 in September 2013.
On a monthly basis, September's rate of construction fell
by 5.4% from August.
